History

Lavington Baptist Church celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024, founded in 1974 by Pastor and Mrs. Gough in a renovated fish-and-chip shop opposite Albury High School. The fellowship later rented premises in Kotthoff Street, Lavington, before constructing its permanent home in 1979 at 450 Parnell Street.

Faithful pastors have served over the years:

• Assistant Pastor Jackel (1978-79, 1 year)
