Children are warmly invited to join us on Friday nights during term for age-appropriate Bible teaching and fun activities. We offer four groups led by dedicated, screened leaders.
Cubbies & Sparks
(Run together by the same leaders)
- Cubbies: Ages 4–6 (Preschool & Kindergarten)
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Team games, snacks, memory verses, AWANA Cubbies handbook activities, Bible lessons, and songs. - Sparks: Ages 7–8 (Lower Primary)

Lavington Good News Club
Upper Primary (Ages 9–12)
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Kids’ songs, memory verses, Bible lessons, and team games.
Special Event: At the end of each term, we usually hold a combined themed night for Cubbies, Sparks, and Good News Club.
Youth Group
High School (Ages 13+)
7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Food, worship songs, short devotion, and sports, games or other fun activities.
• Children must be signed in and out by their parents; who are welcome to stay.
• All leaders hold a current NSW Working with Children Check and follow our Child Protection Policy.
Sunday Kids Ministries
Sunday School (during school terms)
Children join the morning service with their families, then move to age-based classes before the sermon. Classes are available for toddlers, preschool/kindergarten, lower primary, upper primary, and high school. Each follows a Bible curriculum with worksheets, activities, memory verses, and (in some classes) take-home papers.

Junior Church (during term breaks)
Ages 3–12 in one combined class.
Includes a Bible lesson, missionary story, snack time, activity sheets, and occasional crafts.
